Our background

The Paperland adventure began in 1976...
Affected by a passion for paper after a one-year internship in one of Belgium's largest paper mills, Guy-Philippe de Ribaucourt decided to start his own company.
The printing company was initially set up in the basement of his family home in Uccle. It was dedicated solely to typography and had very rudimentary equipment.

Two years later, Paperland bought Clemenceau (typographical printing). At the same time, the company left the area of the Observatory to settle at Place Saint-Job, which is still where the shop is located today. Then, gradually, Paperland bought the De Potter printing company (offset), the Flamand printing company (linotype and printing press) and the Blondiaux printing company (offset).

Throughout the 90s, Guy-Philippe acquired new skills in printing techniques and was named director of a large format printing company in 1994. Five years later, he returned to Paperland full-time, thus giving it a new impetus.

In 2001, after a series of very significant developments in terms of turnover, personnel and equipment, the workshop moved to a larger space on Chaussée d'Alsemberg in Uccle.

The workshop is still located there today and has recently undergone a radical upgrade: new offices, new pre-press studio, new workshop layout and new equipment. It is a very pleasant work environment and we invite you to come meet our team of passionate professionals and lovers of a job well done!
